Helping in this time of need

The young man in this picture (Landon) was in a freak but extreme accident. He was at a bonfire with friends, when someone decided it was a good idea to throw in a spray paint can.

Unfortunately  Landon was standing near the fire. The can exploded and shot out of the fire and barreled towards Landon and hit him in the face. The can hit him and tossed him into the air. Landon hit the ground and friends ran to his aid and got him to the hospital.

Unfortunately Landon has suffered severe injuries and burns from this accident. He was air lifted to Wake Forest hospital, but has since been sent home until further surgery is needed.

The Doctors have informed Landon that his right eye that was hit , that the orbital bone will need to be rebuilt and the eye will never have vision due to the trauma and injury.
His left eye also suffered from burns and has been effected, he is now legally blind in what we call his “ good eye”.

Landon is such a caring, loving, helpful, big hearted young man. Always there to help ANYONE. He recently turned 18 with his entire life ahead of him. He has a devoted family and friends helping him along the way through this tragic journey. The only thing Landon continues to talk about is how he is 18 and how he will not be able to see the rest of his life. With his graduation and prom right around the corner, It’s truly heartbreaking to know this accident has effected his life forever.

Help this family ease there pain by helping out if you can.
