My name is Ma'Shai Hall.
The beautiful girl to the left is my little sister A'Nyia Patton. She has recently lost her life in the act of house fire. The woman to the right is my amazing mother Michelle Patton. She is currently in the hospital fighting to make it through.
A'Nyia was only 2. So her little body and lungs couldn't take the pressure.
Breathing in too much smoke, her lungs were full and her oxygen was cut off from circulating to her brain. She was pronounced brain dead Friday, January 12th, at 12:17pm. I want her go in as much joy as she brought in. So instead of of a funeral, I want to do a ceremony celebrating her life. She had too much energy and was too happy to have a sad funeral.
My mother is still in critical condition. She is making progress but we won't know for sure until she fully comes to terms. And even then, I'm not too sure her brain will be fully alert. The amount of damage is still unknown.
I'm not asking for much, just enough to cremate my baby sister and provide my mother with the proper medical treatments she'll need starting off. I appreciate anything you are willing to give and everything I raise for them. Know that you are greatly appreciated by the three of us and many of our loved ones as well.
