MaryLou Watkins has been a friend of mine since childhood. That means for well over 50 years. MaryLou has received some bad news, news that could not have come at a more desperate time. MaryLou has been diagnosed with Lymph node and lung cancer. Her prognosis is bleak. As of now, her medical team is trying to determine the best way to treat her.
MaryLou has always been someone who has been there for her friends and family. Right now, she is more concerned for a friend who has also been diagnosed with the "C" word than herself.
The funds for MaryLou are needed as soon as possible. She is losing the place she has lived for the last year or so at the end of August. The funds generated from this GoFundMe account will offset her medical expenses, provide transportation to and from her doctor visits and treatments. As previously mentioned, MaryLou also needs to find housing after September 1st.
