Hello All,
The church organ in the Presbyterian Church of the Moriches, which has been in our church for about 80 years, is in need of some major repairs. The leathers in the organ have far outlived their lifespan (almost 50 years as opposed to 30) and they are starting to fail. We have found that the cost to replace and retune the organ is going to be around $33000. Due to being a small church and other repairs that have been necessary in recent years, the availability of funds to make this repair is minimal.
Anyone who is interested in church history or loves the sounds of a classic organ please provide what you can. This is a lovely church and the organ has been a focal point of the church for decades.
