Getting Trevor Better
On January 22, 2012 Trevor was a victim of a shooting. He was shot once in the thigh and once in the upper chest area. The shot to the chest severed an artery, and while the bullet continued to travel deeper into his body it did serious damage to other organs. After hours of surgery, Doctors gave him a less than 1% chance of survival. The ER waiting area was full of close friends and family members, and although they were informed of a likely fatal outcome, no one told Trevor the odds, and to the doctor\'s surprise, in only a few hours he held his own and was classified as \"stable, but critical condition\". He spent almost a week in ICU. Now, after losing a kidney and being placed on dialysis, among various other medical concerns, Trevor has a long road of recovery ahead. He remains in the hospital and doctors have no idea how long he is expected to stay there. Thankfully it appears that any medical bills will be taken care of, however, there will no doubt be travel, living and various unforeseen other expenses that will need to be addressed. This man is someone\'s grandson, son, brother, uncle, friend, and most importantly someone\'s father. At this point, and for the foreseeable future, Trevor\'s ability to support both himself and his family has been compromised to put it lightly. Any amount that someone could donate could make a difference. Thank you.
