Wilson Usedo's Funeral Services

Dear Friends,
Many of you know our friend Wilson passed away in a car accident the night of August 15. His family has allowed me to post this on their behalf. Wilson was my best friend. I met him when I was just a young freshman at Purdue University. Stranded one night he offered to give my friend and I a ride home. In essence this is how he lived his life. By helping others, guiding, mentoring, and giving selflessly. I love my brother, as I know many of you do too.
His family’s greatest wish at this point is to bury Wilson's body in his hometown of Stamford, Connecticut; although there are large fees and travel costs associated with transporting his body across several states. His family has received a quote of about $10,000. We are asking for donations to cover his funeral expenses. Wilson had such a tremendous ability to touch people’s hearts and lives. He knew and helped so many people. I believe collectively we could reach this goal quickly.

Friends thank you so much. There are no words to describe how grateful the Usedo family is. We officially raised $10,470 in a little more than a day. A million thanks to each and every one of you for taking the time to donate. I really wish I could thank each one of you in person.
Unfortunately the family was just informed that there are additional expenses associated with the car accident as well as deposits that need to be made for a tombstone and fees to transport the body. Therefore we are raising our goal just $5000 more. Thank you again for your continued help and support. God bless you.
Wilson's wake will be from 5-8PM this Thursday August 20 at FUNERARIA LUZ DE PAZ 426 East Washington Ave. Bridge Port, Ct 0660 and the funeral will be Friday August 21 at 10 AM at the Sylvan Ave Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bridgeport, CT. and will be taking him to the cemetery at noon for the final service.
