Spinal procedure

Donation protected

As many of you may know, a year ago a good friend of mine, Justin Forza, had a spinal tap procedure. The intent was to draw a very rare fluid from the spine that the human your body produces. There were complications following the spinal tap. Since then, the  last year of his life has been extremely difficult and painful. He developed a CSF leak in his spine. He could not walk and was forced to lay in bed for five weeks, bedridden. Google it, read the stories, people explain it was the worst week of their lives. The pain was so bad and his neck was so stiff, he could not even raise his head to lay it on a pillow. His friends and family would visit but had to leave as they could not bare to see him in all that pain. The pain forced the four sport athlete to tears. Doctors said give it time. When was finally able to stand but for a short time. He was then he was forced back to bed to lay flat, still in great pain. This went on for another three months. He still has a CSF leak today from the procedure and has seen four neurologists, all of whom told him that without a headache, they didn’t believe it was a CSF leak. Personally, I know of no healthy 29 year old who lives with constant pain, hot tingling in their feet, neck stiffness and vertigo, without something being seriously wrong. Well, now a year later, he finally got an answer. He had written a doctor who created a corrective procedure for CSF leaks. Justin sent him his records and the doctor later called him. He explained that he had in fact seen and treated hundreds of people with CSF leaks who did not experience headaches, and after reviewing the case, confirmed Justin has been living with one for over a year! Justin now has an appointment with this specialist. He will visit him at the CSF Leak Center where they will perform a procedure to remove blood from his arm and inject it into his spine. The hope is to close the leak. It’s a serious procedure but Justin wants his life back! He will do whatever is necessary to get back to the four sport athlete he was prior to the spinal tap procedure. This appointment requires expensive travel including flight, car rental and and a five day hotel stay following the risky procedure. Bad timing as he had just signed an agreement to purchase a house and, unfortunately, STILL has an apartment lease he must see through till the end. The medical bills are piling up! The procedure is VERY expensive! It’s overwhelming! Any donation, anything at all, would be greatly appreciated. Justin would be so grateful!!! Please share if you can. But if you can’t, please pray for him. He has a very risky procedure ahead. Thank you, sincerely.
