Dylan Kenney Memorial Foundation

Our Dylan Kenney passed away on a Sunday morning in a senseless act of violence. Originally, this fund was going towards funeral expenses, but the Kenney and Sumner families have made the courageous decision to turn a tragic event into something positive. They will be starting a Memorial Fund to honor Dylan’s memory. The fund will assist youths in ways that are geared towards how Dylan lived his life. Dylan was an excellent Carpenter and we hope to fund a scholarship to an aspiring trade worker. He was also involved in volunteer work during his off season and we want to continue his dedication to helping others. Dylan once asked me, “Could you imagine dedicating your life to others? It would be amazing.” when referring to his friends volunteer work. Now we can make him realize his aspirations through this memorial fund.
