House Fire

Sitting here, with time to reflect on todays events. My heart breaks for my parents and all they have had to endure in the past year in a half!! Harvey came through in 2017 and flooded their house, they lost everything and had to rebuild, it took till April 2018 for them to finally get back in their home. The end of September 2018 Dad fell ill, he has basically been on his death bed since then, he is still ill but slowly getting a little better and hanging in there. Insurance has kicked him out the hospital numerous of times for not enough coverage to take care of him and have left him to fend for him self, Today I get a phone call a little after 2 from Mom to let me know the house caught fire, she is on her way home now. I call Sean in tears, just absolutely broken, he is on his way home, we get there and it becomes a state of shock and denial. The front of the house caught fire and he was inside in the back of the house (the living room) asleep with the two dogs by his side. The neighbors saw the fire called 911 and beat on the door screaming for him to get out!! He had no idea, not to mention, he is ill and has a really hard time getting around. The Lord was truly on his side! The aftermath has been heartbreaking to say these least. My parents are now without a home, and their belongings that were not damaged by fire is now covered in smoke and soot. They are having to start over and buy a new home. They are in need of basics, as in clothes and food, and furniture and anything you may want to donate.
