USSSA World Series Fundraiser

The Maricopa Dusters have qualified for the USSSA World Series in Dallas (July 6-12) and we need to raise funds to help send 11 awesome boys on the journey of a lifetime. We all live in a small town about an hour south of Phoenix in what we call Arizona Cowboy country. Our community is next to a Native American Indian reservation and we have a mix of kids and ethnicities on our team. These boys have worked hard, playing in close to 70 games to qualify for the tournament.  Given the dates of the tournament we are in a time crunch to raise funds quickly.  Simply stated, car washes won’t help us get to the $$ level we need.

We are recognized by the IRS and we are seeking $5,000 to off-set tournament costs (travel, hotels, food, etc) which spans July 6 to July 12.   Additionally, donated monies will help purchase roughly 45 tickets for families to attend the Rangers/Twins game on July 7 in which all of the participating teams (there are 54 in our bracket alone) will be paraded around on the field before the game.

We are ranked #6 overall in Arizona 10u-AA. In the country, we are ranked 243 out of 1,813 teams that have a 'ranking record' which is top 13% of 10UAA teams in America. We are ranked 18 out of 54 teams headed to the Dallas USSSA World Series in July.
