Durham Titans' National Title Fund

The 15 and Under Durham Titans Football team from John Avery Boys & Girls Club has experienced an outstanding 2014 season. The team has compiled a perfect record of 9-0 through regular and post season play. As a result of the team’s performance, they’ve earned a number 2 National Ranking, and met stringent qualifications to compete for the AYF (American Youth Football) National Title in Orlando, Florida, Dec. 7th-12th.

Throughout this season the young men have excelled in other non-athletic programs.  Activities have included community service projects such as Adopt-a-Highway, making bag lunches for the homeless, working the concession stand at the Durham Bulls Park, and facility maintenance at NCCU.

Players must also keep their grades above a 2.0, and avoid off the field trouble at home and in school to travel with the team. To continue the mission of the Boys & Girls Club through football, which states to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most to become productive, caring and responsible citizens, we ask that you make a monetary donation of ANY AMOUNT. All funds raised will go directly to the players' travel costs.
