Durham Refugee Day

The City of Durham has announced May 6th as Durham Refugee Day, celebrating and honoring refugees in the Triangle area. The $2,000 fundraising goal of this campaign will support event day infrastructure like performers, a sound technician, and recreational supervision.

Any additional funds raised will be donations shared equally between the two Durham refugee resettlement agencies, CWS Durham and World Relief. Donations encouraged between April 5 and May 1 to ensure timely distribution on the day of the event.
