Joy and Jake: Tubbs Fire Relief

We are a community of longtime friends (Justine, Kelly, Lien, Elana, Brienne, and Emily) raising money for our dear friend, Joy, and her 6-year-old son, Jake, who literally lost everything in the recent Tubbs Fire in Santa Rosa, CA. Most of us live in SF Bay Area or Sonoma County (one of us lives in WA). 

Joy is a radiant person who has been so selfless throughout her life, constantly giving of herself to her family and friends. Jake recently turned 6 and began kindergarten at a local school, which was also severely damaged by the fire and is currently closed. 

Joy and Jake lived with their family, Joy's mom, dad, and brother (as well as his wife and kids) on their family property that was completely destroyed by the fire. All of the family are safe, but several family pets are missing. The family was evacuated in the middle of the night, with no notice and got out with a small bag of belongings. 

Please join us to support Joy and Jake, and the rest of their family affected by this disaster, as they will need to rebuild everything.  The immediate needs are clothes, shoes, toiletries, and temporary housing for both of them, and we will update this campaign as we learn more of Joy and Jake's short and long-term needs. Joy has direct access to this campaign and therefore direct access to all funds raised.
