February 13, the eve of Lovers Day is our anniversary, 8 years married, 18 years together. 18 years I have loved this one spectacular man. We have had 18 years of incredible experiences and unforgettable adventures. He is the yang to my yin, and he has cancer.
My non-negotiable priority is to hold his hand through every second of the 9 weeks of chemo, every head-in-the-toilet-bowl moment, every hospitalisation.
I know our family has and will help us out when and if we need, but with lots of “how can we help”s, I thought this would be a great way of gathering something we need that at this moment in life we simply can’t generate ourselves.
