On the night of January 21st a truck slammed into the side of my father's (Terry) house resulting in an explosion and a 3 alarm fire. The house and everything in it seems to be lost.
My two younger brothers, Luke and Jake, live with him. Thankfully my brothers were staying at my mothers that night and everyone in the houses got out safely.
Terry works but still has very limited income since he is retired so there was no insurance on the house. Anyone that knows the family knows that we rebuilt the house after a fire on Christmas morning 1992 where the 4 oldest children lost everything in that fire, and now the same has happened to the 2 youngest.
We need to replace Luke and Terry's medicine and Terry's C-pap machine. There may also be vet bills for one of the dogs who ran back into the house and was only found alive after the fire had been extinguished.
We also need to get them clothing since the only clothing the boys have was the small amount kept at my mothers house, and my father lost almost everything.
**Update** clothing sizes
Terry: Pants = 40 x 28, Shirts = 2XL with a pocket or two, Extra wide shoes = 10 (4E)
Jake: Boys 8 slim pants, medium/8 shirts, and youth 2 shoes
Luke: 30*30 jeans, men's medium shirts, 8 1/2 mens shoes
Donations will also go toward finding new living for them.
I have no idea as to the cost of damages sustained but any contribution would be greatly appreciated in helping my father and brothers get what they need.
