Duane L Woodruff Memorial

Duane Leonard Woodruff, Birch Run, MI 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was surrounded by loved ones. Duane was well-known for being a skilled craftsman and a hard worker. He loved the outdoors and hunting with his brother and sons. Duane was a Vietnam war veteran and retired from Woodruff Contracting as the General Superintendent. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karla, siblings ,Allen Burdette, Ollie Wilbur, Gene Arden, Keith Harold, Jack Lee, Wayne Barry, Carmel Kay, Leon Curtis , his children, Paul, Kendall (Heidi), Dan (Emily) and Gayle Brown (Kevin), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at O’Guinn Funeral home, showing for friends & family from 10:00AM-1:00PM, Service at 1:00PM. Burial Ceremony at  Emerson Cemetary near Ithica/Alma to follow service. Pastor Nate Polzin of The Church in Drive in Saginaw will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations for unforeseen medical expenses and funeral costs can be made to the Go Fund Me memorial, in an effort to lessen the financial burden at such a time.
