Shae Croft  SEATTLE, WA
I have a beautiful Labrador girl named Sasha! I am a very proud mommy of Sasha, who is a very special dog,  just  7yrs old. , she is beyond and above my whole world, my best friend, my heart and soul! Sasha was diagnosed with brain tumor. The specialist at WSU has examined her MRIs and condition and is very confident permorning the surgery which is more than 80% of success. Considering the fact that Sasha is very young and has no health issues she has great chances of a good life. Sasha is now on prednisone but she can only take that for a short period of time. The tumor may bleed at any time and then i lose her forever. I am fighting for my girly and she is fighting this also! I have some savings left but not the whole estimated amount, after all the tests, MRIs and expensive visits to VCA emergency clinic as well as  Sasha's loving vet Dr. Earls who has been there for ever from her very early age of  life, Sasha's expenses so far have reached almost $6000. I need help please. I need to raise the funds to get Sasha better and well again.    I relocated to Seattle a month ago starting a new job and looking for a place to live.  I had to put off the new place to live so i can afford the expenses for the tests and treatments. I am staying at a friends guesthouse temporarily and i am not sure what is next.
I need to raise $7000 for the surgery. I am putting everything i have  towards her surgery but it is not enough.  That dog means so much to me, she is my whole world and my sunshine! We are so connected!
If you ever had a dog or any animal that meant the world to you then you know how i feel and nothing matters more than your best friend!
I only have a few weeks to schedule surgery and save my Sasha.
Please help me save my girl, please give Anything you can for my Sasha! Every little bit truly helps.
I am willing to pay back everyone that donated, sign anything i need to for my gilry!

Hello everyone! I wanted to update you on the progress. My Sasha is doing well, and guess what tomorrow is her last treatment! I honestly can not believe it that we coming to her final treatment tomorrow. It has been very scary and sad and happy to see her do better. The next 3 months I will be watching her closely to see any ubnormal behavior and hopefully I pray so hard that when we take our CT we see nothing in her breautiful brain! Please pray she beats that and we have no sad news.
I can not wait to get a job and save money to get my baby in a nice house warm and full of happy smiles! Life with Sasha is amazing and I am so lucky for that!

Sasha is doing well. I don't remember if I mentioned it before but her shape of tumor has changed and is now square which is unusual and we don't know exactly what it is there for her doctor had some extra tests ordered so we can rule out certain other possibilities. Don't have the results yet though. The weekend we spent in Seattle she had a great time walking and playing and eating a lot! Today we are back at the WSU for her last weekly treatment. I am hoping that Sasha will live for many years to come happily! My girly is strong!
This is a note for my old friend Jon ! Jon I hope you are doing well in Europe. I know you know about Sasha's illness and cared about it. I can use your reassuring friendly voice! I have sent you my new cell #530 area code. Your advisor has it.

To all my friends and even the ones that helped my Sasha without even knowing her or me I want to say you are her heroes! Thank you to Mosby Foundation Coopers Legacy and Good Samaritan! Thank you to Kristina Umbright that has become an angel a friend at the WSU! She has sat next to me and gave me so much courage and supported me through losing my job due to sexual harassment from a very young and unprofessional manager. Unfortunate but true! God decided to give me all the tornado he could. But I was made tough. ☝️Thank you to Betsy Wheeler that takes Sasha every day for her treatment and gives my Sasha so much love, she is incredible! Thank you to Bryan from my old job at the Marriott that has been there for me since Sasha was diagnosed. He held my hand and heard me talking and being scared and crying and he always looked at me like I could conquer the world. He supported me so much. I love you so much! Thank you! I have to also thank Francisco Nunes at WSU that helped me with Good Samaritan fund. He has been checking on Sasha and myself every other day. Such a wonderful person! Thank you to Charlie Powell that listened to my pain every single word of it and saw me through my every day tears and held my hand like my dad would. I created such bonds here I will always remember forever!

Sasha has been amazing through all this and has been resting and getting back her health slowly but surely. We still have long way to go post radiation. However, she is a tough cookie to crack!!!!!! Her doctor also cut down the dose on prednisone to 5mg daily, so Sasha can start slowly thriving on her own.Dr. Fidel thank you, you have been just great!

I know we all love our pets but to me Sasha is my daughter, my baby and I was willing to go to battle for her and I did. I am still not out of the woods with her but I will give a hell of a fight to keep her healthy and well and happy like she used to be! I know not having work now is killing me and brought me to my knees but I know there are better days ahead. It does not seem like it now but it has to. Life is so beautiful with those kind people around us, isn't it? Sasha and I have been blessed!

I Only visualize the good that is coming for me and Sasha! And it will come!
Sunshine is coming!

Dear Steve, now I know who you are! What an amazing work you have accomplished. Rescuing and training is what I want to do if my financies allow it. I always wanted that and want to keep dogs out of harms way and terrible owners or just random people that hurt them. I would like to keep in touch! Thank you for all you do for our best best friends!
