On Sunday, August 16th at 8am we were finishing a lovely vacation weekend for my birthday.  Jenae was alarmed to see Henry stuck up on a very tall old/school play-set/jungle-gym.  She tried to coax him down but he froze up.  Jenae went into action and climbed up after him, got him and started back down.  On the way down, she missed a rung and fell backwards.  Falling hard- but protecting the baby- she sustained a Trimalleor fracture (the worst sort of ankle break).  It was totally deformed and dislocated.  Of the three bones broken, the fibula was worst- having shattered into four pieces.  In emergency surgery they rebuilt her ankle with screws and plates.  She will be off her feet for a minimum of six to eight weeks.  We have no health insurance as we could not afford ACA and were denied Medicaid (under appeal). 

Jenae is primary care giver and home-school leader for our boys.  I am an independent contractor and I don't get paid unless I work.  We live check-to check always and have already lost a check.
 
My car is in the shop and we have many pressing expenses and need money for medication and medical supplies.  If you are able to, please help.  If you are close family you have/are helping way above and beyond the call of duty already.
