UPDATE: We have changed the name of the fundraiser to End of Life expenses and memorial since Donyell’s fast decline and passing at the Suncoast Hospise house.
We are sorry to have to say goodbye to Donyell, who passed away on 11.29.2018 at about 12:37 due to triple negative breast cancer. We are so grateful to all who have shown love and support.
Donyell was a caring, strong and an optimistic person despite the enormous health challenges she faced in especially the last 10 years of her life.
She had many hospitalizations stemming from the scleroderma and later with an aggressive form of cancer. She recovered from these health issues and surgeries and did not let them dampen her spirit.
Unfortunately, cancer returned as triple negative breast cancer in March 2018. She fought hard and continued to work until 10.22.2018 with the great courage that characterized her while fighting for her life. Despite both Bill and Donyell as well as their son Austin working full time, they incurred many costs associated with her illness.
Bill and Austin now have to learn to navigate life without their rock, compounded by financial challenges.
All of the funds raised will help with end of life expenses.
