Accelerate Opioid & Drug Disposal

Hi Glen Rockers, You may have heard that I am working to secure a Drug Disposal Unit for our town -- we are in the final stretches, but I need your help!

We have all read about or experienced through family or friends the damage done to communities in Bergen County over the past few years due to drug and opioid abuse. I have been working with our town officials, a local pharmacy and the DEA to secure permission to purchase a drug return and disposal unit for our town.

While eventually the government process may approve the funds to purchase this unit over the next year, I feel strongly, we as residents, would want to see this in place yesterday. That is why I am asking for a small donation from all of you that feel just as strongly to make this happen now and not wait while we read about more overdoses in the news.

This is not a cure all for this disease, but it is a critical and easy tactic to implement to help combat prescription drug and opioid abuse. With these funds we can purchase the disposal unit. This will serve our community, in a local pharmacy that can offer counselling and is an environmentally friendly solution.
