Safe Transportation for my GG

This amazing woman with a sweet spirit makes 3 trips to dialysis each week and several visits to other doctors, transferring from wheelchair to car and back multiple times. Please help us purchase this wheelchair-ready van so those difficult transfers will no longer be necessary. 





In 2007 my mom, Linda Edwards, gave up everything she had to move from Colorado to California to take care of my grandmother (GG), after the passing of my grandfather.  Shortly after taking on this endevour, GG was faced with a cancer diagnosis.  While she is now cancer free, the treatment took a toll on her body.  GG is now wheelchair bound due to the kidney failure and loss of a leg below the knee.  My mom has not complained or baulked at the added care and responsibility needed for a limited-mobility elderly woman.  I have first hand watched my mom learn to lift and transfer in and out of a wheelchair from multiple position, including a vehicle.  I am not in a financial spot to just buy her this vehicle that would improve mobility of both my mom and GG, decrease the risk of injuiry to both of them, and improve the overall morale of both of them.  So I am here, appealing to the masses...can we all just gather a little and mass it into a mountatin to provide for two very deserving women?  They have both given me so much without question or regard for themselves; help me do the same!
