DreamWeavers of Georgia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of foster children. Dreamweavers offers three main services:
1. Providing the child with everything he or she needs in order to ease this adjustment of Foster Care. Often they come into their foster homes with nothing but the clothes on their back.
2. Planning events specifically for foster families to socialize and gather together in a safe environment. Sometimes even giving the foster parents a night out!
3. DreamWeavers realizes the importance of children maintaining biological family connections. DreamWeavers provides visitation programs to assist in the healing process while strengthening fragile family bonds.
We are in the process of building a new visitation center that will allow the foster children to meet with their biological parents in a safe, private environment that feels like home. It will have a gathering space, a kitchen, a dining table and most of all a place for visitation to occur in a normal environment. We are collecting funds to furnish and equip our new visitation center. This is where you can help...these children need your help!
