Dreaming of a Baby

Donation protected

Sean & Shaina!

We need help making our dream of having a baby come true. Please help us by donating towards our fertility treatments. HOPE FAITH LOVE!

The story begins in 2006 with two teenagers that who started flirting at work. Sean and I met working together at a inventory company that traveled around the northwest states. We were 18 years old and just stepping out into the world. We started hanging out with friends and eventually started dating. It was an instant attraction that grew to so much more. Christmas 2007 Sean sent me on the best scavenger hunt of my life that ended to the man of my dreams down on one knee.

Shortly after we were engaged I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome is a condition in which a woman has an imbalance of a female sex hormones. This may lead to menstrual cycle changes, trouble getting pregnant, and other health changes.) We really didn't comprehend the meaning of this. My doctor at the time gave me an encouraging - "You probably won't be able to have kids," prescribed me a medicine that was suppose to help balance my hormones that made me horribly sick. Then sent me out the door.

Almost 2 years late September 13, 2009 we were married. The PCOS was something we really didn't talk about. It was there but it was a sore subject, almost as if we didn't talk about it then it wasn't real. We didn't tell friend and family. But then the famous question. The one question that breaks your heart everytim... "When are you guys having kids?" You answer, "We aren't ready!" then "We are trying!" Then you have to start telling people. "We might not be able to have children!" You have to admit you have fertility problems.

Almost 3 years and still no baby and no progress. Going to doctors that do not have knowledge of what they are treating and telling you take birth control... because they think it solves the problem, when really it just masks it. Trying to keep a smile on your face when secretly you are crying inside. Knowing that you would do anything you could to make it a reality. Asking why this is happening to you when there are people having babies everyday you never wanted or want them. Trying to keep hope when the road ahead looks hopeless.

We are asking for a miracle! We are trying to achieve the impossible. But we believe it can happen if the funds were available to start proper treatment with a specialist!
