The Girls Rule Foundation 501c3 was established in 2012 and offers five empowering leadership programs. Through these programs we provide girls, ages 12-18, with tools and resources to build a healthy, confident and successful life…to fulfill their highest potential and their dreams.
In celebrating International Day of the Girl (#dayofthegirl) created by the U.N, we stand with the global community to support girls’ progress everywhere. We invite you to invest in a young girls’ dreams and future by championing the National launch of dreamLAB after-school club for girls!
Today is the day that we are launching nationwide with our 5th and most innovative program! Girls coast-to-coast can start a dreamLAB club in their school! Your support today will help us meet our goal of establishing 1000 dreamLAB after-school clubs nationwide. This will impact up to 12,000 young girls in the next year!
What is a dreamLAB?
· dreamLAB is an inspirational after-school club designed to give middle and high school age girls an experience that empowers the girls’ greatness, create positive self-esteem and positive friendships and helps them build leadership skills.
· The Leader Kit (currently in English only) can be held at any school, group or organization with 5-12 girls per club. It is $59, available on our website www.dreamlabforgirls.org and is the only thing a girl needs to start and run her club.
·The dreamLAB, implemented in 2016, is the most recent of our 5 programs that are based on the Girls Rule 3-point curriculum that we call our Foundation For Success: 1) a Greatness Mindset, 2) a Strong Self-Esteem and 3) our 12 Leadership Principles.

· Your support today is the reason we can keep this program at only $59 for the Leader Kit!
· Plus 10% of your contribution today will be designated to a dreamLAB Scholarship Fund and will be used to cover the $59 cost of the dreamLAB Leader Kit for girls that lack the financial resources needed to initiate a dreamLAB Club.

How does a dreamLAB club work?
· Each club needs a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 girls.
· Each club identifies a female adult as the club sponsor(s) to be at the meetings
· The club meets 12 times for 90 minutes each. The start/end timed is determined by the club leader.
· Each Club receives a Girls Rule dreamLAB Leader Kit that has everything needed to start and run a club including fun graphics & flyers to help invite other girls.
· Any girl in middle or high school can start a club in her school or home schooled girls can start it at home for her home school community of girls.
· The meetings are girl-led using the dreamLAB Leader Kit, guiding them through 3 core elements at each meeting:
~ The Dream Circle (30 min)- offers a fun way to help each girl pursue her dreams
~ A Weekly Lab (20 min)- Each week will explore one of the 12 Girls Rule principles to help master leadership skills
~ An Open Lab (20 min)- Work on either: developing dreams, planning their community project or engaging with a guest speaker. Each club completes a community project at the end of the club to practice team work, communication and giving back.
· Each dreamLAB leader is encouraged to customize her club with their own unique sparkle and leadership style. Leading a dreamLAB club is empowering, inspiring and educational for the members and the leader.
Each dreamLAB Leader Kit is only $59 and includes:
· Directions on how to prep and plan to start your club
· The 12 content/lessons/activities for each meeting
· Email and app support from Girls Rule Foundation
· Suggestions for a community service project that will help spark ideas
· 12 brilliant, beautiful and bold pink bracelets are mailed to the leader for each club attendee.
