Je m'appelle Ezgi, je suis une flûtiste de 27 ans. Je viens de la belle ville d'Istanbul. Ma passion pour la musique et les arts m'a amenée au Sud de la France en 2010. J'ai quitté mon pays après avoir terminé mes études au lycée à 18 ans pour réaliser mon premier rêve: devenir élève de flûte au Conservatoire de Nice! Depuis, j’ai appris la langue, la culture, obtenue mes diplômes et je me suis intégré dans ce pays.
L’une des choses les plus importantes que j’ai apprises est de toujours vivre avec votre passion, même lorsque les situations deviennent difficiles. Malheureusement, cela m'est arrivé pendant les dernières années de mon université. L'économie en Turquie s'est effondrée, j'ai perdu ma chère grand-mère et ma mère est tombée très malade. Quand quelque chose de mauvais arrive aux personnes qu'on aime, on voudrait simplement les aider et l'une des façons dont je pouvais aider ma famille était de travailler. J'ai commencé à travailler comme professeur de flûte, nounou, hôtesse et femme de ménage dans un hôtel. En travaillant, je pouvais aider ma famille financièrement et subvenir à mes besoins mais je ne pouvais pas économiser assez d'argent pour l'école dans laquelle je souhaite étudier.
Avant de décider de devenir musicienne à l'âge de 12 ans, j'étais également très intéressé par la science. Je trouve toujours les chirurgies fascinantes et je voulais devenir chirurgienne cardio-vasculaire. Mais maintenant, j'ai trouvé quelque chose où je pouvais combiner la chirurgie et la musique en devenant "luthier" ! En 2012, j'ai rencontré des personnes qui ont changé ma vie, Otto Hnatek et Alice Gunther. Après j'ai acheté ma belle flûte chez eux, ils sont devenus une grande partie de ma vie. C'est à travers eux que j'ai découvert ce métier incroyable. L'année dernière, Otto a mentionné qu'il cherchait deux apprentis. J'ai saisi cette opportunité et mon enfant intérieur était tellement heureuse par ce nouveau rêve! Mais malheureusement mon adulte intérieur a actuellement des problèmes financiers. C’est là que j’ai besoin de votre aide!
Après une conversation avec Rémi Caron (enseignant à l'ITEMM - Fabrication des instruments à vent / histoire ) et Otto Hnatek; j'ai décidé de devenir étudiant à "l'Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique" au Mans. Mon objectif est d'obtenir le CAP (Certificat de compétence professionnelle) pour devenir assistant technique en instruments à vent. La formation dure 9 mois temps-pleins. Cette éducation me permettra de travailler à nouveau avec ma passion. Je demande 10673 € qui couvriront les frais de scolarité (7595€) et la résidence pendant 9 mois (3078 €). Si j'atteignais cet objectif avec votre aide, cela me permettre de continuer mes études et mes rêves tout en soutenant ma famille en travaillant.

Hello,
My name is Ezgi, I’m a 27 years old flutist. I come from the beautiful city Istanbul. My passion for music and art brought me to the South of France in 2010. I left my country after graduating high-school when I was 18 to follow my first dream, which was to become a flute student in Conservatory of Nice ! Since then I’ve learned the language, the culture, got my degrees and I made myself a part of this country.
One of the most important things that I’ve learned is to always live with your passion, even when situations become difficult. Unfortunately this happened to me during the last years of my university. The economy in Turkey crashed, I lost my dear grandma and my mother got very sick. When something bad happens to the people you love, you just want to help them and one of the ways that I could help my family was to work. I started working as a private flute teacher, baby-sitter, hostess, and cleaning lady in a hotel. By doing this I could help my family financially and support myself but I could not save enough money for the school that I want to study in.
Before I decided to be a musician when I was 12, I was also very in to science. I always find surgeries fascinating and wanted to become a cardiovascular-surgeon. But now I found something where I can combine surgery and music by becoming a luthier! In 2012, I’ve met the people that changed my life, Otto Hnatek and Alice Gunther. I bought my beautiful flute from them and they became a big part of my life. It was through them that I got introduced to this amazing profession. Last year , Otto mentioned that he was looking for 2 students. I took this opportunity and my inner child was so excited about this new dream! But my inner adult is currently having financial problems. That’s where I need your help!
After a conversation with Rémi Caron ( Teacher in ITEMM - Wind instruments making / history) and Otto Hnatek; I decided to become a student in « Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique » in Le Mans. My goal is to obtain the CAP (Certificate of Professional Competence) to become a technical assistant in wind instruments. The training will be 9 months full time. This education will enable me to work with my passion again. I’m asking for 10673 € which will pay for the tuition fee (7595 €) and residency for 9 months (3078€). If I achieve this goal with your help, it would mean that I could continue my studies and dreams while still supporting my family by working.

Benim adım Ezgi, 27 yaşında bir flütistim. Güzel şehir İstanbul’da doğdum ve büyüdüm. 2010 yılında müziğe ve sanata olan tutkum, beni Güney Fransa’ya getirdi. 18 yaşında, liseden mezun olduktan hemen sonra ilk büyük hayalimi gerçekleştirmek üzere İstanbul’dan ayrıldım ve Nice Devlet Konservatuvarı’nda flüt öğrencisi oldum. O zamandan beri buranın dilini, kültürünü öğrendim, diplomalar elde ettim ve kendime bu ülkede bir yer yarattım.
Şu ana kadar öğrendiğim en önemli hayat derslerinden biri; karşına ne zorluklar gelirse gelsin hayatta her zaman tutkuna tutunmaktır. Bahsettiğim bu zorluklar üniversitemin son yıllarında beni buldu. Yurtdışında yaşayan bir öğrenci olarak Türkiye’nin ekonomisi, güzel anneannemin kaybı ve anneciğimin hastalığı.. Sevdiğimiz insanların başlarına kötü birşey geldiğinde onlara yardım etmek isteriz. Benim de aileme yardım olarak yapabileceğim tek şey iş bulmaktı. Özel flüt dersleri, bebek bakıcılığı garsonluk, otel temizlikçiliğine kadar bir sürü işte çalıştım, çalışıyorum. Fakat bu işlerde çalışmak aileme desteğe ve yaşamama yardım etse de eğitimime devam etmek istediğim okulun faturasını biriktirmeme yeterli olamıyor.
12 yaşında müzisyen olma kararı almamdan önce, bilimle de çok ilgiliydim. Özellikle hayat kurtaran ameliyatlar beni hep büyülemiştir, bu nedenle de önceleri hep kalp cerrahı olmak isterdim. Şimdiyse kendime öyle bir meslek buldum ki iki tutkum olan müziği ve cerrahlığı bir araya getiren, enstrüman tamirciliği. Bu meslekle tanışmam 2012 yılında hayatımda gerçekten çok önemli yerleri olan Otto Hnatek ve Alice Gunther sayesinde oldu. Geçtiğimiz sene Otto 2 öğrenci aradığından bahsetti ve ben de bu şansı asla kaçıramazdım. İçimdeki çocuk çok mutlu oldu fakat içimdeki yetişkin maddi sıkıntılara bir çözüm bulmak zorunda. İşte tam olarak bu noktada sizin yardımınıza ihtiyacım var.
Otto ve Rémi Caron ( ITEMM okulunda nefesli çalgılar yapımı ve tarih öğretmeni) ile yaptığım görüşmeden sonra eğitimime « Institut Technologique Européen des Métiers de la Musique » (Avrupa Teknolojik Müzik Meslekleri Enstitüsü) ‘de devam etmeye karar verdim. Hedefim Mesleki Yeterlilik Belgesi (CAP) elde edip, üflemeli çalgılarda teknik asistan olabilmek. 9 ay tam zamanlı sürecek olan bu eğitim, bana tekrar tutkumla çalışmamı sağlayacak. Eğitim ücreti (7595 €) ve 9 aylık ikamet ücretiyle (3078 €) birlikte toplam hedefim 10673 €'dur. Bu hedefe sizin yardımınızla ulaşmak; bana çalışarak aileme destek verirken, eğitimime ve hayallerime devam etmemi sağlayacaktır.
