Dream Come True for Carson
The Lehigh Valley Men's Baseball League partners with local charities, blood drives, and other meaningful causes each year. In 2018 we are fulfilling a Dream for Carson.
Carson is an 11 year old boy diagnosed with Ana-plastic Medulloblastoma when he was 7 years old. He received chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Medulloblastoma is a cancerous tumor that originates in the brain and can spread to the spine. He is doing well but still has to take daily medication and injections.
Carson's father unexpectedly passed away a short time ago. Carson was very close to his Dad and they did a lot together.
Carson loves the outdoors, four wheeling and hunting. He enjoys watching sports especially hockey. His favorite teams are the Flyers and Blackhawks. His favorite show is the Nickelodeon show Dude Perfect Show.
Carson's dream is to go to Great Wolf Lodge and take part in all that it offers with his family.
The League has already committed to fully sponsored Carson's dream.
In addition, the league is coordinating fundraising with the goal of $4,000 or $100 per team by Sunday, July 15, 2018.
100% of the proceeds will be given to Carson's family at the All-Star Games or during the RCN TV Game depending on Carson's availability.
If you know someone who would donate tickets for Carson to see the Flyers, that would be a great surprise to him as well.
We don't know how long Carson will be able to enjoy his life. Please help us surprise Carson and his family with a generous donation for him.
