Raised by 2 people in 11 months
Hola!

Datos Importantes:

Hello! The video activity was a blessing from God that we organized between Miami and Venezuela. A small activity with the family Dravet Venezuela in Valencia, Carabobo.

For those who do not know me I am @Julie_herdz Vice President of the Dravet Venezuela Foundation. I give Faith and I am 100% responsible for the funds donated here.

How do I know the beneficiaries?
Simple! I am in contact 24/7 with the founder of Dravet Venezuela who goes out every day and is in direct contact with hospitals, special cases and cases of extreme need. Together with other organizations, they are verifying and organizing the distribution of funds according to priority cases.

The activities in the short term are:
1.- Cook food dishes to the needy in the streets, day and night, weekly. Also in hospitals and shelters
2.- Meetings to give talks in shelters to the children affected by the situation of the country, to avoid that they deviate in their growth to bad steps.
3.-Take the most extreme and precarious cases in the corners of Valencia.

Long-term activities are:
1.- Provide Psychotherapy to children and young people in several shelters to prevent them from following bad steps.
2.-Orient parents and adults in the search for work, or even teach them skills they can develop to provide a service and work.
3.- Build a shelter Dravet Venezuela in which we can do all the aforementioned.
How do you get the funds to meet the objectives?
Every month I send boxes with food and medicine that I can get here in Miami. (You can see photos or follow me in the networks or simply corroborate with Dravet Venezuela) Activity that I have been doing personally for a year.

Dravet Venezuela begins a year ago with the diagnosis of Yenmar Michelle being the only girl in Venezuela with Syndrome Dravet, from there begins the mission of finding other cases and now after a year, we find 3 more children, which are Being guided through Dravet Venezuela.

In the course of the foundation, we find many people in street situation, hunger and lack of medicine. Now among our activities is this
Go out into the streets and hospitals to offer a plate of hope, protein, and carbohydrates to those looking for food on the streets.

Nowadays there are several groups of Venezuelans who organize to help as much as possible to the next. We do it through medicines (which are meticulously delivered with a a medical prescription) and monthly meetings in which we buy food, cook among all and distribute to those who need it.

WE EXPECT TO HAVE MORE HELP TO ARRIVE AT MORE HOMES AND MAKE WEEKLY MEETINGS. THIS SITUATION IS NOT BEING RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNMENT, IN WHICH IT IS IN OUR HANDS TO HELP US BETWEEN ALL.

Important data:
According to a study carried out by Caritas Venezuela between October and December 2016, 52% of the children monitored presented some kind of nutritional deficit and 25% showed some form of acute malnutrition in four of the main states of the country
