Ambulance for Dominican Republic

MedEvac Canada recently transferred a patient to the Dominican Republic. The Ambulance provider - "Escorpiones" had a very old ambulance with broken stretcher.  The group Escorpiones also provides charity work and has a group of volunteers that work with them. The service Escorpiones provides is very important to assist with transport of people who need to get to medical help. 

MedEvac Canada is working with the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Canada, in arranging to donate a ambulance from Canada to Escorpiones in Dominican Republic.

We are looking for donations to assist with buying and transporting an ambulance.

Type of ambulance: We are looking to get a 2008 to 2010 Canadian/American type of ambulance. The estimated cost for this is $12,500. (MedEvac Canada will contribute $500)
Equipment: We will be stocking the ambulance with First Aid supplies, strecher, blankets, etc...  The cost for this is estimated at $3500.00. 
Shipping: We are working with the Dominican Republic Embassy in Canada to assist with shippings costs. 

Any others costs that may come up, MedEvac Canada or it's employees will gladly contribute.
