For June

Last night our June went home to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by the ones she loved the most. She put up the bravest, most powerful fight against cancer anyone had ever seen. You could say June was as solid as they come. While June was a friend to many, there was no one or nothing more important to her then her family. Misty, Goldie, Lacy,  Jessica,  Donald, and Danny were her great joy but her greatest joy were her grandbabies. And her children weren’t just her children, but to her they were her friend. There was nothing stronger then the bond between them. June gave them everything she could even in times when she had so little. The greatest thing she gave was her Love. 
June was the kind of woman who became a friend to everyone. She knew no stranger. She opened her doors to her home, gave her last dollar, and she made sure that you had eaten, even when you couldn’t fit another bite. June was never famous, she was never rich. But June being who June was was famous for her kindness and her giving heart and she was rich in her love. When she loved you you knew it. She left this world better in which she had entered it and that is certainly evident in her children.
So, as we say our final goodbyes here on earth to June lets give back to a woman who gave so much. This time will be difficult for the children and grandbabies of June.  She worked up until she physically couldn’t. And with all death financial obligations become a tremendous burden especially for the greiving  family. Any money raised will be used for funeral expenses, travel for family, and any outstanding financial obligations.  
Thank you June for your love and friendship. Thank you for welcoming so many into your heart and home. You will be deeply missed; missed for your spit fire attitude, your joy of  laughter, but most of all for your heart of Gold.
