On January 12 2017,

Doug went into cardiac arrest. He was life flighted to Pittsburgh where he is in ICU.

He is currently heavily sedated and they are keeping his body temperature low to hopefully minimize brain damage.
The next 36 hours are the most critical. On Saturday, the doctors will begin to ween him off the sedation and life support measures.
Right now, the doctors are telling us he has a 5% chance of coming out of this and they said if, by the grace of God, he comes out of this he will have significant medical issues and will require extensive rehab.

The impact to the family is immense because Doug is the screws and bolts that holds his family together. He is Jamie's rock and true partner.

Doug is in God's very capable hands now and through God all things are possible. We are all praying for Doug and whatever God's will may be.

Lord God please grant Doug one of Your miracles!
