Doug Pomeroy needs transportation

People who know Doug will tell you he is a funny, positive and very talented person. He has been a professional drummer for many years and has played all over NY and New England.
For many years he has seen his health decline due to muscular dystrophy. It has reached the point where he is on disability and confined to a wheelchair without many transportation options. Doug is now living in a small public housing apartment. He spent the last of his meager life savings to purchase a wheelchair ready vehicle so he could get out and see people and do things like shop for groceries on his own.
Unfortunately the person who sold him this van did not disclose that the van would not pass inspection and was basically just a piece of junk that should be scrapped.
Without some help from some generous people, Doug will be out of luck in the long term. Please find it in your heart to help us get Doug a decent used van to make his life much better.
