Doug Barchek was an amazing and selfless husband, father, friend, and athlete. He put up a superhuman and heroic fight, beating odds and confounding doctors while kicking pancreatic cancer in the tail for nearly 5 years. As Lynette - his soulmate, best friend, and adoring wife of 38 years - stated, "Doug taught so many of us how to live every moment as fully as possible."
Doug and his family have been a force of good in this world and have done so much for so many of us. Now, the Barcheks could use a little help from their friends. I can't begin to imagine the financial stress this has placed upon the family, but for those of us who want to give back in a tangible way, this is one way we can help.
