Can you support the Dorset Community Workshop in any capacity?

Dorset Community Workshop is a Non Profit Organisation.

A community facility with Woodwork, Pottery, Crafts, Metal work, Engineering, Spray Booth, 4 Post Car Lift and communal kitchen area with Log Burner. A creative center where all walks of the community can try out creative or mechanical hobbies or activities.

Our primary aim is to provide special support to all groups helping people with Mental Health Recovery, Disabilities, Stabilised Addiction Recovery, Homeless and Back to work training such as Dorset Mind, Faithworks Wessex, Community Employment Services and others.

This is a Community Enterprise where the commercial use of the facility funds the charitable activities - That is the goal!

However this is a BIG project and we need support of local businesses and communities, we would welcome any donations it will help us finish the building work which we are well underway with.

If you can donate services or equipment instead of a financial donation then please get in contact with us via the links below, anything will help.

Thank you in advance for whatever you can do to help.

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
