Don's Journey

Our friend Don Smith was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal cancer in June. Additionally, the cancer metastisized into his lymph nodes, adrenal gland and two areas of his spine. Since the original diagnosis, the cancer has further spread to his stomach, liver, sternum, and shoulder. The pain he is experiencing from the bone metasteses is very severe and debilitating.  Don has gone through chemotherapy, radiation, a feeding tube, and is now going through immunotherapy and Zometa (bone strengthener).  He is fighting like a Warrior for his life.

At this time it is necessary for Araceli, (his wife) to stay with him, so she has to cut her hours and possibly completely quit her job.  We are humbly asking for your help with Don's fight. If you know Don, he is a proud and honorable man, and he is fighting with everything he has.  Araceli, Tati, Everett, and Donovan are staying strong but need your help.
