Donations to help Eddie and Debbie Park Dumas

Our dear friends are going through a very hard time and need our help. As you all know, Eddie fell off of a ladder while at work in May, 2018. Eddie ended up having a crushed Calcaneus Heel and had surgery on it the following week after the swelling went down. The surgeon placed 9 screws and a plate during the surgery. During the healing phase, Eddie became infected. The physician and workmens comp refused to send him to the infectious disease control doctors, the hyperbaric chamber, and would not have wound care  to help Eddie until Debbie changed physicians and with that, you are only allowed to change one time with workmen's comp. He was not healing and a bone scan was performed. Eddie was diagnosed with Osteomyelitis and MRSA was found as well. Eddie was admitted to the hospital and was put on Vancomycin. So, the treatments continued to help get rid of the infection. Eddie had to have another surgery in November to "fix" what the other surgeon did. So, Eddie is still in recovery and in a wheelchair on Non Weight baring orders for 10 more weeks. Then he will go to rehab due to being in a wheelchair for 7 months. After healing from this injury, Eddie will have Rotator Cuff Surgery due from the fall as well.
In October their dream home was destroyed by the Hurricane along with everything they owned inside it. They were turned down for Renters Insurance when they applied because their house was across from the bay and they were searching for more companies that possibly would insure all their belongings when the hurricane hit. They have lost all personal property  like furniture, clothing, all important items needed to live a normal life. They left their house the night it was suppose to hit as a Category 4 Hurricane and drove to Pensacola, Florida to avoid the devastation. They were lucky to find a hotel that had a room. They are now living in the Hotel and found out last week that Eddie's company stopped his insurance and he is only receiving workmen's comp pay. A huge decrease in pay I might add. Debbie is having to take care of Eddie and cannot get a job at this time because he is not even allowed to put weight on his foot and is in a wheelchair. I tried to get this going over a month ago and Eddie was having a hard time with this but now, with all their bills, doctors visits, expense living in the hotel, and they are having to pay the rent on the house that is in Panama City Beach as well, he has finally agreed to let me start this fundraiser for them. Any amount you can give will help our wonderful friends overcome this hard time they are having. If you cannot help with funds, please say a prayer for them because prayer works and they need comfort.
