UPDATE: Aniken lost his fight the evening of May 11, 2019. Aniken fought his little heart out. The parents and family are grieving at this time, and are in so much pain. Aniken, an energetic and loveable 4 year old boy, unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest, the evening of 06 May 2019. He was life flighted to Primary Children's hospital, where the family currently is. He had a 2nd cardiac arrest later that night, and ecmo surgery was performed. Aniken is on ecmo and dialysis. The team of doctors hope he will be strong enough for his heart to manage on it's own. The family is also hopeful that treatment can be a possibility, and that a determination can be made as to what caused his heart to fail. Loxy and Duran have 2 other children, Annaly age 6 and Aylen 4 months old. Aniken is such a joy to be around and is a great brother to his siblings. The family is beyond grateful for all the continued love and support everyone has provided. Please keep them in your thoughts.
When going through a traumatic life altering situation, finances are the last thing you want to worry about, however, they are there. We are hoping to raise money to help with the unexpected large amount of medical bills that will accrue, as well as daily living expenses.
