I started this go fund me with a lot of hesitation. I come from a family who likes their privacy and when times get tough we were always taught to work through it. We were always taught to work hard at what you want to achieve. In March of 2018 my father suffered a stroke. A severe stroke that has caused him to lose movement and feeling in one side of his body, also affecting his eyes causing his vision to be depleted. Over the past few months my dad has had many doctor appointments and physical therapy sessions. He's worked so hard at trying to get back to his good health but his body just wont let him and he's been unable to work. I've watched this man slave away his entire life. Working hard to give us everything we have ever needed. I've seen him come home from work after a 16 hour day with blisters on his hands mud on his shoes and his face sunburned and tired. I sit here now typing this knowing he's going through this and feeling like he doesn't deserve a single a second of it. As a family we stick by each other but between medical expenses and household bills savings and income have been used up. He's trying so hard to get back to being his old self and the fact that he has been unable to do so has taken a toll on him and my mother emotionally and physically. I reach out to friends, family and strangers today to seek your assistance in helping my dad continue his mission at getting healthy and back to work. Money is tight in todays economy. With all the medical expenses and savings gone my dad my not have a home anymore or be able to afford a doctor to help him through his recovery process. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Please help my dad with his recovery and help him keep his home. We love our dad and we would give him the world if we could, But right now all we need is a little help, a little love and some prayer.
