Donate To Support Abbey Conner
Many of you know myself, my family and my sister, Abbey Conner. While on our family vacation in Playa del Carmen, Abbey suffered a traumatic brain injury. As of now, she will be moved from a hospital in Cancun to a traumatic care unit at a hospital in Florida.
Thank you for the outpouring of support. The emergency medical bills have taken a financial toll, and those who have inquired as to how to support our family can contribute here to help cover the expenses.
Why Do We Need Your Help?
*Insurance will not cover all of Abbey’s medical bills and funds raised here will help with immediate healthcare costs and transportation services.
*We anticipate more medical bills in the coming weeks and months.
How can you help?
*Share Abbey’s Story on social media.
*Donate what you can to this GoFundMe page.
My family and I appreciate any and all of your donations, love, thoughts and prayers.

It is with a heavy heart I inform you that my little sister Abbey passed away today. Words cannot describe the loss my family is going through, but we want to thank you for all of your support and understanding along the way.
The GoFundMe team wanted me to clarify the intent of our fundraiser for some of our donors who may not be fully aware of Abbey's circumstances and how we planned to get these funds to pay for her treatment costs.
I, Austin Conner, am Abbey's older brother and will withdraw the funds from this campaign. I will secure the money in a joint account between myself and my mom, Ginny McGowan. My mom will then be able to withdraw the funds from that account and use them for the emergency medical bills that accumulated during Abbey's treatment.
The GoFundMe team has been nothing but helpful to us through this ordeal. We are appreciative to have been able to use the GoFundMe platform as a way to raise awareness and support for Abbey.
Funeral details will be released soon- until then, please respect the privacy of my family as we grieve. Thank you for keeping Abbey in your hearts and prayers. She will be incredibly missed.
I love and miss you Abbey. See you soon.
Despite how hard this has been for our family, we are so amazed by the community of people who fiercely love and are determined to support Abbey. On behalf of myself and my family, Thank you.
Please continue to share Abbey's story and we will continue to keep you informed of her progress.
We are overwhelmed and humbled by everyone's love, donations, and unyielding support. Abbey is a fighter, but she couldn't do it without all of you. Thank you.
