Donate to Our Culture Camp

Hi, my name is Lupe and I am working at the Welcome Project this summer and running the summer camp. Every summer the Welcome Project,  a nonprofit in Somerville that works to build the collective power of Somerville immigrants to participate in and shape community decisions, host a summer culture camp for local kids ages 8-12. This year our program runs July 17th-28th, and we are really excited to provide these kids with the best of summer fun while also reflecting on culture and identity through different medias. They will be doing fun arts and crafts projects, while also learning more about the different people that live within their community as well as reflecting on their own diverse identities. It is really important for us at the Welcome Project to provide a safe space for kids to learn and grow and also have some fun! Though as a small community non-profit we need all the help we can get to make the program what it is. Any donation helps!
