My name is Sejdina Music I'm writing to all of you asking for help on behalf of my best friend and her family.We all know the sleepless nights when our kids are sick : colds,ear infections, flus, etc now imagine having a child with the chronic illness that has no cure. This is what my best friend deals with on a daily basis not with one, but two of her sons are diagnosed with CGD. Her family has managed to fight CGD to the best of their abilities all these years. Unfortunately Amirs battle turn into more aggressive when he was diagnosed with yet another awful disease.

Amir medical journey started when he was only four months old, he was diagnosed with CGD (Chronic granulomatous disease). With many ups and downs with this disease, many hospitalizations, frequently ER visits, and endless doctors appointments.
Amir had a liver infection back in 2007, and he did fairly well until this past August, that’s when his and his family world was turned upside down once again, only this time Amir had just turned 14 and was ready to start high school. On August 2nd, Amir was diagnosed with UC (ulcerative colitis), he was hospitalized twice so far do to this, both times being in isolation and not being able to leave his room.
He’s been on all kinds of medication to control his ulcerative colitis but it seems like nothing really helps, he’s also been on steroids since August and everytime they try and take him off he gets worse
His infectious disease doctors as well as his gastroenterologist have suggested he goes thru a stem cell transplant.
Both of Amir's parents work full time and have another son who has CGD as well, they'll be taking time off work to be at the hospital with Amir during his transplant as well as after he’s ready to go home.
Unfortunately their jobs don’t offered a paid family medical leave, we are asking if anyone is able to donate - any amount it would be greatly appreciated, we know the procedure will cost about $850,000 and we are hoping insurance will covered it.
This amazing young men will embark on a journey that will forever change his life and his family. I'm asking all of you,all the good people out there to please donate as much as you can. No donation is too small or too big. Your donations will go towards all the bills that this young family will still face. No family should worry about bills while their child's in the hospital.
