Assalamu Alaikum,
We are pleased to inform you that we have obtained the city permit to build a second floor above our main floor because of the lack of sufficient accommodation for Friday prayers and Islamic education. At present, about one thousand people can pray at a time at this mosque now. More space is needed urgently!
This is an appeal to all Muslim brothers and sisters to donate generously towards the building of the Second Floor of Baitul Mukarram Masjid and to finish the outside and inside projects.
It will cost almost $400,000.00 to build the second floor and to finish the outside and inside projects. Construction has already begun.
Our Activities:
Five times prayers, Friday Jummah prayer, both Eid prayers
Khatme-Taraweeh, Qiamul-Lail
Islamic education - Arabic, essentials of daily life, Islamic Studies
Memorization of Quran
Regular Discussions of Islamic Issues
Please remember the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) - “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah then will build for him/her a house in paradise.”
