"DOMA V NOLA" Story

"DOMA V NOLA" means "MY HOME IN NOLA". It would be the first book about New Orleans published in the Czech Republic.

The book will be published in April 2019. As a journalist living here since 2007, I've been interviewing New Orleanians for Czech media on topics like jazz, Mardi Gras, food culture and much more. I am very happy, that now I'd have a chance to be able to spread "the magic of NOLA" in the heart of Europe.





The Cost

To be able to print and publish the book with high quality photographs & graphics, I am currently seeking supporters. From the beginning, I wanted Nola community to be involved in this project, that's why I asked the local kids to draw or paint pictures for the book. It turned out wonderful!

I would also love to give back to the community and donate art supplies for their school at Airline Park Academy for Advanced Studies in Kenner, Louisiana.


I've already secured most  of the funds, but still need $2500 to be able to do all of that.





What will you get?
