Dogs from Dilijan rescue
Adam Briggs and I (Mandy Roddick), as well as Wanda and Darrel Pollitt, are in the process of trying to bring two amazing dogs from Dilijan Armenia home.
Dog's lives in Armenia are abysmal as they do not have much help for animal welfare. The Government doesn't treat dogs humanely and shelters here are privately run and overloaded with dogs with no route out.
Victoria and Ben Allen, from Vancouver BC, rescued these two siblings from a barn while working on the Transcaucasian Trail NGO helping build Armenia's first long-distance hiking trail. Victoria herself is Armenian originating from Syria.
Victoria and Ben have successfully rescued two other Armenian dogs. One of which belongs to my friend here in Vancouver. And the other lives on Vancouver island.
We are reaching out for help to cover some costs to bring these two sweethearts (Garlic and Sujukh) home to Canada where they will have an amazing life with us and get to see each other frequently.
Any help would be very appreciated to try and make this happen.
Donations will go towards:
