Dogs of La Toba Dump in BC Mexico

Yes, I'm usually fundraising for cats but this organization really needs our help. They are the only rescue group in the city of Constitucion in Baja California, Mexico who is helping with the problem of dog overpopulation in their area.
The organization, Hogar Temporal Mejoramigo, or Best Friends Foster Home, is run by a family of 5. Recently, they learned about a group of dogs living in squalor at the city dump (Basurera La Toba). They were able to get free spay/neuter services by a local vet, but all medications, treatments, food, shelter, etc. is paid out of pocket. The need is so great and they can't turn away from the suffering. They are struggling to feed and medicate the dogs in their care. They are currently going through 100 lbs. of dry dog food per day.
Charitable giving in Mexico is 40 times lower than in the US, meaning donations for animal welfare are extremely rare. Yes, we need assistance for dogs here in the US too, but we have more options here. Help us support their kindness and desire to improve the lives of these dogs.
