Dog Food for Bacalar, Mexico

I visited Bacalar (2 hours south of Tulum) in Mexico in July and it changed my life. I grew up in a rural area with a terrible stray dog problem, so this wasn't just a case of culture shock; Mexico truly has an absolutely heartbreaking and astronomically out of control stray dog problem. Bacalar, as well as almost all the pueblos, is completely overrun with sick and starving dogs, and although giving them food does not help the overall issue, it's something I can do on my own in the short time I'm there to help alliviete some of their discomfort and, my main goal, bring awareness to the problem.

I'll be going back to Tulum on November 5th to volunteer at a mobile vet clinic for 2 days with the rescue Help Tulum Dogs, and then will be driving down to Bacalar for a day to deliver as much dog food and flea medication as I can to families in the area. I will provide receipts, photos, and videos so you see exactly where your money is going. The bags of food I bought from a grocery store last time were about $6 to $8 each, so any amount donated helps!
What would make incredibly happy is to be able to have enough to buy bags of dog food as well as being able to donate the rest of the funds to the rescue I've kept in contact with, Help Tulum Dogs.
Help Tulum Dogs is a rescue run by two incredibly selfless women (out of their own homes) in the area who do so much rescue work by themselves. They're always in need of funds to keep fighting the extremely uphill, exhausting, and daunting challenge of doing constant rescue work in Mexico.
