Do it for Jrake!

Jrake was born with several health issues, and for the first 3 months of his life Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital was our new found home. Jrake suffered from Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (heart disease), Obstructed Cardio Myopathy, gallbladder disease, which also caused problems with his bile ducts and liver. After meeting with Jrake's specialist on last week, I learned that he has to undergo another major surgery for the second time within his nine months of life. He's also had several minor procedures throughout the past months to follow his progress after the removal of his gallbladder at the age of 2 months. Jrake has to have a bile duct removed which house's a mass, the removal of half his liver, along with having his intestines rerouted to make his digestive system as normal as possible. This has not been the easiest journey, and one of the hardest things I have to do during our hospital stays, is leave behind my 8 year old daughter. Thank God she understand's the reason, & know that she can talk to us daily. One thing I know for sure, Jrake has the heart of a lion, he's definitely a fighter, and he capture's the attention of just about anyone he encounter's. I can honestly say, I have never doubted that God wouldn't see us through. I know Jrake's a blessing, a miracle, and he has a divine purpose. I don't know what tomorrow hold's, but I know who hold's tomorrow. I am just praying mother, standing in the gap for my son.
