Send Rachel to Rainbow Book Fair!

Hiya, friends, it's me again, Rachel. 

I'm here once more, in need of your help. I'm trying to scramble together enough money to get me to the Rainbow Book Fair (http://rainbowbookfair.org/) in NYC, on April 9th.

Once there (via Trailways, which should cost about $50, last I checked and then a day's Metrocard which should be about $7) I'll be able to set up at my publisher's table with a few copies of my book--six copies, which should cost me about $65--and try to  sell those copies of my book as well as promote myself and my book.

I hate to bug you guys again, but that fat book-cash hasn't begun rolling in yet--maybe this'll help that along--so I'm still pretty broke. Or at least I don't have the funds to make it to NYC and get those copies of my book.

So, yeah. I'm trying to raise $125. I don't know what to say to be all smooth and convincing--some promotor I'll turn out to be :-)--but I do want to thank whomever can contribute and even those who can't, for their well wishes. Thanks, guys.
