Here we go.
Fundraising for Movie Trip is something we’ve been on the fence about for almost 2 years.
The last thing we want is for fun, creative side projects to become a full time job (we almost did Patreon), however this platform of fundraising is perfect for how we’d want to fund our films!
That said, no project goal will ever go over $500.
As we continue to make these shorts, each production gets bigger as we begin involving more people outside of our regular friend group as well as getting access to some really amazing possibilities of which we would wish to financially compensate.
A lot of people volunteer their time to help us out but we want to help them in return!
Like any other film, these shoots can be hot, long, and sometimes frustrating. It doesn’t feel right for them not to be paid - we’ve paid some out of pocket but we can only do that so much until... you know, we can’t.
With your help, we will be able to raise a small budget to pay for the cast & crew, food, props, location permits, music licensing, etc. to make the best possible thing it can be!
With all that said, thank you for supporting Movie Trip and we’ll see you... at the movies!
