Help Beat Aplastic Anemia!

This page is benefiting my sister, Erika Reese, who is in need of home health care for 6-12 months. Erika is 26 years old, and an elementary school teacher in Baltimore, Maryland.
My sister was recently diagnosed with a rare and serious blood disorder called aplastic anemia. In people who have aplastic anemia, the body doesn't make enough red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. This is because the bone marrow's stem cells are damaged. ? Currently, Erika has to endure multiple blood transfusions each week to replace her low blood cell counts. Though the cause of aplastic anemia is unknown in many cases, many people who have aplastic anemia can be successfully treated with a bone marrow transplant.
Luckily I'm a match and I'll be donating my blood marrow to Erika soon! After her transplant, Erika will be in the hospital for a month and then must stay at home for 6-12 months to ensure that the transplant was successful. In those 6-12 months, she will need around the clock home care.
This is an effort to assist in the enormous cost of home care. Home care is VERY expensive, costing around $700 a week! Given that she'll need care for 12 months, this could cost her over $30,000! This is in addition to her previous medical expenses, upcoming out-of-pocket expenses, and my donor expenses (her insurance doesn't cover all the care she needs). We're raising money to help her assist in these services.
Without being able to pay for home care, she could be impacted in getting back to full strength and living a normal healthy life.
We are preparing to do what is needed however, we are seeking your assistance.
