Disabled Mom & Daughter need a home
Donation protected
We relocated back to Vancouver BC for our health but have now been homeless for over 2 months! Living in a wheelchair van is like living in a refrigerator. Add we also have my daughter's wheelchair, my walker and canes, our suitcases, food, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows etc in there!
We need a home!
I am a Mom/Caregiver of my special needs daughter and we are living in our wheelchair van in Vancouver. My daughter is having break through seizures. She has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, a heart murmur, Celiac Disease, Development Delay, Asthma, Low Vision and now has had a lot of aches and pains. I also have health challenges and disabilities and am constantly in extreme pain.
We aren't sleeping well, we aren't eating well....we need a home!!!!
I am scared for my daughters life. I have seen her almost die during a 25 minute seizure and I don't want a repeat or worse. At least some help in paying for a hotel would be a step up please.
Since our journey started we have been in a car accident, we had a dead battery and then my daughter's wheelchair got a flat! Terrified to think of what is next.
